To explain: When you leave through that door, you will be teleported into the viking blocking it from the outside, you're unable to move and the game will save at that point. On a quick note, you might want to not walk down once you enter the chief's room from out of bounds, as it'll trigger a long dialogue and when leaving the room, you should absolutely not leave through the chief's door, as it will softlock you and render your save unusable. Mind you, it's unedited so the fight itself's still in there as well as a bunch of stuff to show that the game is in the state before defeating the troll. OoB is mean in this game and walls usually also block you from getting back in bounds.

When entering the Viking village on the frozen island, there is a non-solid wall in the registration building (just to the left of the counter) allowing you to go out of bounds and skip roughly three areas as well as a miniboss and just go straight to the boss for the item you then trade to for the Fragment.īasically, you skip the entire work for the fragment with the exception of beating the boss. I just finished the fighting game portion due to some wandering around and exploring and basically noting stuff to test. IMO the controls for specials are a bit more finicky than USF4, at least playing both with gamepad. I have no idea if you can tech the ground. Super is really good damage, you should probably use it every round since the CPU seems to not block is well. Super (with full bar) = two quartercircles forward +attack (punch) Shoryuken = downward dragon punch input (downward "Z" or more accurately down>forward>diagonal down-forward) Tatsu (spin kick) = quartercircle back + action (kick) (I didn't check this in the air, but assume you can since Ryu can) Hadouken = quartercircle forward + attack (punch)

Grab = both buttons next to opponent (I did not successfully throw behind first run, but you probably can)ĭash forward/dash back = doubletap forward/backīlock = press backward (back down diagonal to block low) (you're basically Ryu)Īction = kick (crouching kick is a slide)

Okay, Street Fighter control explanation for those who want it or just mashed buttons to get through.
