Towns once use to be full of people but are now ghost towns. Finally the Soviet Union went on and told everyone what really happened at chernobyl. Hospitals were filling up faster than they handle, people were starting to worry. Everyone went on living their lives but more and more cases of cancer, radiation poisoning, etc were popping up everywhere. I thought we should tell everyone the truth about what happened, but the government wanted to hide it from the world. They shut it done, and that is where it went wrong. It was time for the second test on April 26 1:22 a.m we started by shutting down the first turbine. Me and my co-workers got a pay raise for getting the reactor done so fast. I finally got done, and ahead of schedule to.
